BluePrint lets your brain take a backseat while putting your body first—in fact, the company’s tagline is “We think, you drink.” And it’s true: With no guesswork and no mass quantities of organic veggies lugged home from Whole Foods and haphazardly combined in your juicer, a BluePrint cleanse is as easy as one, two, three (plus four, five, six, if you’re at it for three days). And to think: It all began with a head cold.

Certified nutritional consultant Zoe Sakoutis was going through her first major cold of the new millenium in early 2000 when she turned to a raw foodist friend for advice. The friend recommended a seven-day juice cleanse to clear it up. Sure enough, within a week, Zoe’s cold had disappeared. Though she was thrilled with the results of juicing, the process of making her own concoctions morning, noon and night was more than a little inconvenient, and so she decided to do something about it, creating a cleansing line geared toward health-conscious, on-the-go urbanites.

Along with her friend and co-founder Erica Huss, Zoe launched BluePrint in 2003 with a small loan and direct-to-consumer business model. The Manhattan-based company carried no inventory and made everything to order, putting the product in the hands of community influencers to sing the company’s praises. Things exploded quickly after that, and BluePrint soon went from a team of two partners to 115 employees in New York and Los Angeles.

What makes BluePrint so special? For one thing, the company uses 100% organic fruits and vegetables, and preserves essential nutrients by using state-of-the-art hydraulic press technology. Most juices on the market are created with a centrifugal source press, a process which allows for the oxidation of ingredients and depletes many key vitamins and minerals. In their L.A. facility, BluePrint utilizes a process which literally slowly presses the fruits and vegetables together, so that the nutritional integrity is maintained. The end product is 100% organic and USDA certified, and even the bottles themselves are pasteurized by being submerged in a vat of water while several tons of pressure is applied, removing any pathogens while maintaining optimum nutritional quality.

Every bottle of BluePrint is an ultra premium product and contains 16 ounces of vegetables. It’s an easy way to hit the reset button on your body and gear yourself toward better health from here on out. Oh, and did we mention it’s delicious, too?
